A smashing good time at SmashBurger

The Boyznberries and I went to SmashBurger as we were invited to try them out. This was a real treat as we have never been and we had no idea what to expect.
Rule #2 was hard for my toddler as he was obsessed with the word smashing and really thought they were going to smash his lunch!
Everyone was super nice and cheerful!

Service with a smile! Gotta love it! Thanks Eric!

My two little berries got the bacon cheeseburger. I know really exciting right?

He seriously was waiting for someone to come up and smash his burger throughout the duration of meal. I had to tell him it was just the name of the place, lol!!

The sour grape aka my baby brother turned his head away when I went to take the picture. He is seriously so vain…Um yeah you’re not the spotlight your burger is dude! Well actually I already got a photo of the burger, I was just tormenting him like the good sister that I am.

Burger selfie!
This is not just your ordinary cheeseburger with avocado….
All burgers are specially smashed and seared seasoned to order. NEVER EVER FROZEN! Using only 100% Certified Angus Beef. Accompanied with an artisan bun, freshly chopped and beautifully displayed produce. A variety of cheeses to accompany your burger. Not only is it pleasing to both your eyes and stomach its just as pleasing to your wallet!
My oldest did the make your own burger as well. He had the swiss cheese with bacon and avocado.
One thing is for sure, bite
after bite….it continued to please.
I decided to get the harvest salad which was super delicious and served in a HUGE chic bowl, (ok more like a chic and modern serving dish)
Not only did I enjoy this salad so did my son!
We deiced to try the smash fries and the veggie frites. The smash fries were flavored with olive oil and rosemary they were delicious. I made the mistake of getting one basket with two ravenous teenagers, a preadolescent, and a toddler.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the veggie frites I thought they were so so and that was the overall feel for them with the exception of my toddler. He loved them and told me they were delicious especially when he lightly dipped them in the ranch.
The servings were decent and we had to take half of my middle sons burger home. This rarely happens. The burgers were that big. You do get a lot for what you pay for. The prices are fair and you can’t beat fresh made to order.

The next time I go I may or may not bring my kids! 🙂  If I do bring them I know I will need to order at least TWO sides of Smash Fries. I will get a side of the Veggie Frites instead of the fries for my youngest. I will get a salad for the whole table to share, its that big. The salad is a meal within itself however we are all salad eaters.

This is a place where you don’t want to stay in your comfort zone and I kind of have regrets for doing so, when I just ordered the salad. So with that next time I want to try the Mushroom truffle burger or the Spinach Cucumber and goat cheese burger. Or do I want to try it with the grilled chicken?

I would highly recommend looking at the menu beforehand as the choices are just so tantalizing. The food is great and its a pretty chill atmosphere. I will be back again as they have something that the whole family can enjoy, down to the picky eaters!

Thank you SmashBurger!!!!!
