Caboo: Revolutionizing Daily Living

When I first heard about the Caboo product, I was intrigued for a variety reasons. I had heard for many years, the benefits of bamboo being used in construction from scaffolding to actual building material. I wondered how a material so strong could be manufactured into something clean the tender nether regions of the body AND various household chores, so I jumped at the chance to see what this product was all about.

I received my box of goodies, which contained a package of 12-double rolls of toilet paper, a box of tissue and package of napkins. I also received an email that had a video explaining the materials used to make the products that contributes lowering our carbon footprint. But I’ll get to more on that later.

I started with the toilet paper. There were 12-double rolls and I promptly distributed them between the two bathrooms in my home. I didn’t tell my husband because I wanted to see if he could tell the difference between Caboo and the other brand. And he did.

Right away when you touch the product, you can feel the difference. It softer. Not just with the toilet paper either. It was the same with the tissue and napkins, as well. They are very absorbent and because of that, your overall use requires less of the product and not more to do the job you need it to do. All around, there aren’t enough adjectives to describe how I love this product.

But it doesn’t stop there. What makes this incredible product all the more incredible is the fact what is made from and the impact it has on our beautiful planet earth.

I learned from the informational material that, traditionally, when a tree is used to make any product, it takes approximately 30 years for it to regenerate only to be cut down and used again. It doesn’t take rocket science to see the problem with that system. Compared to the two to three years it takes to regenerate the bamboo and sugar cane. And nothing is wasted. The cane is harvested and the pulp is then used, along with the bamboo, to make the finished product. It’s the things we don’t think about in our consumer driven society that we should.

I really liked using the product and am glad that I now have something I can bring into my home that makes me feel a little bit better in doing so.
