Get ready to get your blue suede shoes on!  Located in Ohio, The rock and roll of fame has something for everyone. So rock on. General Admission is $23.50. Seniors 65+ $21.25 with ID. Northeast Ohio Residents $19 along with Military. For residents proper ID is required along with the list of zip codes for the area. Children 9-12 $13.75. Children 8 and under are free with a paid adult admission.

Open every day from 10 am -5:30pm and every Wednesdays until 9pm.

#3 Hocking hill state park near Logan Ohio is a rugged area great for the nature lover in you. With an ever so beautiful backdrop.

Hocking Hills provides a variety of recreational opportunities in all its glory in a beautiful artistic natural setting. 2,356-acre park with towering cliffs, waterfalls and deep hemlock-shaded gorges to entice the hiker and naturalist alike and serve as a backdrop to popular facilities and accommodations.  So many activities; Archery, Dining Lodge, Fishing, Hunting, Picnicking, Swimming and over 10 trails to keep you busy. This is sure to be a fun family outing for the day or for a camping adventure.

 

#4 Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

Located off of Powell Road. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a non-profit that is just north of Columbus. Hours vary by month, so be sure to check out the website when you decide you want to visit. For the month of May they are open from 9 am-5pm. If you live in Franklin County you will be given a discount however you will need to show a valid ID or stat-issued id. For non Franklin County residences it is $5-$10 difference. Comparable to other places its still a great deal. Parking is $10. They also provide Zoo locker rentals for an additional fee. I would highly recommend the “Zoo – it- All – Wristband. This includes all the Zoo rides, Jungle Jack Landing, Stingray Bay, and the brand new 4-D Theater. Which is opening during Memorial day. Please be advised that zoo admission is not included  with the wristband.

#5 Mansfield’s haunted reformatory. The movie Shaw Shank Redemption was filmed at this location.

The summer Season for tours started April 1st – Sept 1st. The tours run Daily 11am -4pm.

The Self guided tours will run between 45min – 70min. General admission is $12. Students, Seniors or Military or those with a valid College Id $10. The audio wand is an additional $5.

The Guided tours which are only offered on Saturdays and Sundays from June 1st – September 1st. General admission is $17. Students (7-17), Seniors, those with a valid College Id and Military are $15.

    I grew up in Ohio and when I go back, the Hall of Fame and Cedar Point are must sees every chance I get! Great piece.

  2. Totally love the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Spent the 4th of July there last year. It was a great time.
