Walk though the American Revolution, Heritage Costumes INC A walk through the American Revolution, General Rochambeau might not have been. Talk about mom shaming to the fullest. I mean what mom forgets about something like this? Ok I really didn’t forget about it. I had my sons’ outfit all mapped out. I told him I would go to thrift stores and find the perfect outfit. Yes that is easier said than done. Its always a hit or miss and more often than not it is a miserable MISS. I was defeated, all I had as a backup plan was my sons white baseball pants he used for practice. I was in full panic mode.

You would have thought by the expression and disappointment on my son’s face that quickly dissipated to a face of uncertainty. I was fearing for the starting of our own political upheaval.

My son was so proud to be appointed to read the lines for General Rochambeau. He memorized his lines, he spoke like him and wanted to dress and look the part. He wanted to be in all his glory.

This was on a Friday and I called Heritage Costumes INC . I figured they wouldn’t have anything left by this time. As all those other responsible Parents already lined up their costumes. For the record, this General guy is very popular. I was unable to purchase it due to this however I was able to rent it.

As school is approaching and if your little one is going to be partaking in this event, I highly suggest once your child knows their character to call Heritage. Another pointer if you have younger children who are a couple years younger, I would highly consider buying the costume and then make minor tweaks to it when its their turn. Well if they are the same gender, As Martha can’t be tweaked in to General Ro!

I was so pleased with the quality of the attire.

General Roshambo, Heritage Costumes, Walk through the American Revolution

My son looked like the five star General himself. I am forever grateful for Heritage Costumes INC and all their customer service. I even got a call the next day to ask how my son’s performance went. Who does that anymore? They certainly knocked my socks off and I know they will with you too!
