The Ultimate BBQ Experience is now at House Of Blues – Anaheim!

As I’m sitting here drinking my warm cup of coffee after dropping one of my girls off at school, I can’t help but drool thinking back a few nights when House of Blues  showcased their BBQ Menu.

Hubby and I were able to go together which was perfect because he is the biggest BBQ lover I know. This is the first we’ve been to the new location and it is stunning! I kept walking around saying I just wanted to live there. As we sampled the Ultimate BBQ menu we got to listen to live music! I mean can you say best date night ever!

The four course menu started off with an appetizer; ridiculously delicious BBQ Riblets. These bad boys has fresh jalapeños sliced on top, and were resting on a bed of spicy kimchi. If you have a sissy heat sensor in your mouth like myself, I’d advise against chopping on those jalapeños. HAHA These riblets can currently be found on the Foundation Room Menu, one more reason to gain special access upstairs!

After cooling off with some Jack Julep* we downed the tasty, slow-smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich perfectly served with a side of cole slaw and fries. Available on the House Of Blues – Anaheim Restaurant Menu, this sandwich is sure to have your insides cheering for BBQ season!

If the Jack Julep* doesn’t already have you dancing, the Smokehouse St. Louis Ribs Chef Kelvin Crisostomo presented next is sure to get those toes-a-tappin. Dry-rubbed, smoked and slathered with house made BBQ Sauce, served with baked beans and cole slaw is now on the menu! And if it’s available ask for the Asiago Jalepeno Corn Bread, cause nothing screams Ultimate BBQ like corn bread with your ribs!

Last, but not least Bourbon Bread Pudding. I’m not usually a fan of bread puddings (I usually opt for something chocolate), but drizzled with a Bourbon Caramel sauce made this dessert rise to the top of my list!

Now to channel Chef Kelvin and throw some meat and BBQ Sauce in the crock pot. Poor hubby will never see my attempt at BBQ foods the same again! I don’t mind another date night with some heavenly ULTIMATE BBQ FOODS!

*Jack Julep is a specialty drink that House Of Blues serves Monday nights for Nashville Nights. Come enjoy a drink while listening to LIVE country music!
