Before I started going to Newport Smiles Dental Spa, I was MIA from the dentist chair for a few years. Missing my twice a year cleanings and preventative care. Before deciding on Dr. Adames I interviewed and had consultations with 5 other dentists.
I was told I needed a deep cleaning, a root canal, and and and with over $15,000 worth of dental procedures. I have all my consultation forms. I was scared sitting in their chair when they told me I had gum disease and I needed the deep cleaning and so much preventative care or my teeth would eventually fall out. I flipped out and I was depressed. I was actually going to see about taking out a line of credit for my mouth.
I was a cash patient. I didn’t know how was I going to do this. I couldn’t afford it with my current life events and all the dental work.
Finally after talking to a friend about needing to find an honest dentist with reasonably and affordable prices. They told me to contact Newport Smiles Dental Spa.
I went in and I didn’t tell them anything about my mouth. I just did the exam and I waited to hear what was needed. The gum disease with 4’s were the same with some 5’s. When we went over my treatment plan and I saw the price. I asked if that was just for the root canal and deep cleaning.
Stephanie the office manager smiled and said no. It’s for everything and you don’t need a root canal or deep cleaning. The price was for a night guard, fillings, cleaning, fluoride treatment, top of the line crown, and many extras. I couldn’t believe it. I asked again if this was part of the cost and if it was in sections. I was told again with a smile it was for everything.
This dentist and her staff were honest, friendly and affordable AND in Newport Beach.
To be honest I was beginning to look at dentists in the same category as sneaky used car salesmen. Until I found Dr. Adames.
Dr. Adames is a small business owner who prides herself on attention to detail and does an amazing job. During my journey to getting my mouth in shape, I want to help spread the word.
She is honest, hardworking and her prices are extremely fair. I did my research and with the quality and expertise you won’t find another Dentist like Dr. Adames or her prices.
Oh and as far as my numbers with gum disease they went down to 2’s and 3’s after my laser treatment. While people are different and their gums react differently. I’m extremely pleased.
You all know me. I won’t go out of my way to share or promote unless I believe in something. I trust my ( and my kids) mouth to Dr. Adames.
