I did it I joined Weight Watchers

So they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so is stepping on the scale. Due to censorship issues I am not allowed to say those words about the scale!

This is what 40lbs less looks like on my face;

This is what 40lbs added looks like on my face;

SPANX can’t help me now, unless they make one for the face. I do love them and I still wear them for my tummy! Even though it still tries to escape it still makes it so I can button my jeans and looks better than if I didn’t wear them. Even when I was at my goal weight I still wore them, they are the cheap mans version of the tummy tuck!!!

So After much debate I decided to join Weight Watchers. When I joined I just wanted to do the online program. However the leader told me that studies proved that those that attend the meetings are proven to lose more weight. I guess its the accountability. I opted to do the meetings and my pass even allows me to track my points online as well. I get the best of both worlds.

Best part I love that its a point system. I do these reward charts for my kids so its kind of like that and its easy to track. You get a certain amount of points a day. Its as easy as 1, 2, 3 to track these points.

Weight Watchers allows me to be a mom and eat what I want within the restrictions of my points and I get a reserve for when I want to splurge. They throw in the life raft for when its a chocolate kind of day!!! HA HA HA HA HA

I am a mom and there will those days I WILL pick the plate of my 4yo and eat his nuggets. I don’t want to feel guilty for eating, God knows by the latter picture that I haven’t.

MY demise when I go on a “DIET” and when I eat something “BAD” all  bets are off and I eat what I want. Weight Watchers gives me the accountability I need and best part I won’t feel guilty.

This will also help me with the foundation I need for a life journey. I had a personal trainer in the past and the most I lost was 12 pounds. The problem is that you can’t out train a bad diet.

I feel if I get this squared away it will inspire a balance of what I need to have a healthy relationship with food and it will be realistic.

I love food, I love to eat food and I love to write about food.  I am the foodie queen!

Everything in moderation.

I want to be able to look good and eat my cake too!

With Weight Watchers I know I will be able to and I won’t feel guilty.
